The dream of Higher Ground began in the spring of 2018. Mattea and I had just met a few months prior at a SCCA RallyX event in Port Saint Lucie, FL. We both shared a passion for rally and a special brand called Subaru. I came from a 20 year background of general automotive technology and Mattea has roots in subaru as far back as 2009 when she got her first Subaru, a 1998 Legacy GT. Her focus at the time we had met was parts. She was a Subarus parts specialist and manager of the dealership parts department. I had only just began my specialization on the brand in 2016. Together, we formed what would become one of the most reputable Subaru specialty shops in the state of Florida. Built on a foundation of honesty and integrity, in just a few short years we had already earned the trust and repeat of the local Subaru community. We focus on reliability and dependability, which is the heart and souls of the Subaru brand.
